July Beauty Favorites

Another month, another favorites list! Since July has officially come to a close, it’s time to share my beauty favorites! Here are the products I just couldn’t get enough of this past month.

My skin has been having more breakouts than usual this month. California is experiencing a lot of wild fires recently and there’s been so much smoke in the air. So I’m thinking the poor air quality could have something do to with it. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness is just what I needed to conceal my blemishes. I love that this product is full of things that are great for my skin! It’s anti-aging, hydrating and gets rid of any redness or discoloration. This practically makes blemishes disappear! And I love that it has ingredients that help treat my skin too! That way it’s not just clogging my pores and irritating my skin even more. To apply, I use the IT Cosmetics #203 brush, only available from Ulta. A little bit goes a long way and this brush blends the product so perfectly. Don’t be alarmed when you see the color of the concealer. It looks pretty dark in the jar but somehow it becomes just right once blended into the skin.

Since my skin was somewhat problematic last month, I was using masks a little more then I usually need to. Since I didn’t always have the time to sit around waiting for my mask to work it’s magic, I tried these Biore One-Minute Masks. All I had to do was wet my face and massage the products around for a minute. It’s self-heating to open up pores and the charcoal works great for drawing out impurities. After using it my skin would feel so clean and refreshed and it was quick and easy!

I recently discovered the Morphe Towel Bestie, which removes your makeup with just warm water. Seriously, where has this product been my whole life?! This towel is so soft, doesn’t irritate my skin and removes every trace of makeup from my face. I love that it’s reusable and all I have to do is wash it in the machine every couple uses and it’s good to go again! I previously used makeup remover wipes but I love this as an alternative because it doesn’t create waste. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a waste free way to remove your makeup or if makeup removers sometimes irritate your skin.

Well, my list of favorites for the month of July is short and sweet but definitely contains some holy grail items!

Cheers,

Alex
