Last month, a couple girlfriends and I threw our friend a baby sprinkle for her sweet little girl. Since she’s having a girl, pink was obviously part of the color scheme. We called it a sprinkle because it’s her second baby and she didn’t need every little thing that a brand new mom might want; which is what led one of my friends to come up with adorable idea of having a the theme be rainbow sprinkles.
We made this cute little banner that we hung from the dessert table. I used my Cricut to cut the paper using the swallowtailed cut. I purchased the white letters at the craft store before I had my Cricut, so I could have easily made those as well.
The dessert table had a assortment of treats, most of them adorned with rainbow sprinkles to match the theme of course! We even found cute sprinkle napkins! We also made a sweets sign to match the one on the gift table.
The gift table was decorated with a a sign made from the same paper as the banner with gold glittered lettering in a gold frame. We also had these cute letters to spell out ‘baby’ that were painted hot pink and covered in rainbow sprinkles with mod podge.
One of my favorite decorations we had are these blocks spelling out the baby’s name! We covered half of the boxes using wrapping paper to match the banner and signs and the other half in metallic gold wrapping paper. Then, the letters were applied using a hot glue gun.
We also had a wooden cut out of the letter ‘S’ for guests to sign and write sweet messages on for mom and dad to hang in the nursery. We painted pink to match the decor and used gold metallic sharpies to write on it. (Not pictured)
Here’s a close up of the letters and the signs, along with the word scramble game we played. I found the list of words on Pinterest and used an image from a google search to make the sprinkle border.
What are some fun themes you have seen at baby showers or sprinkles lately? I love hearing your ideas!
